Studio Transformation

I always thought that I wasn’t a half bad interior designer when I thought to put white Christmas lights around the boarder of my cramped dorm room. I even thought that the full, wall size, collage that I created inspired by cuisines, fashion, and traveling helped to add a little beauty to the cement walls.

But after seeing even just a few pictures of this newly transformed room, well lets just say, my confidence of being a self made interior designer was kind of pushed from it’s pedestal.

Young Korean artist, JeeYoung Lee, has made use of her smaller then average studio apartment by creating out of this world landscapes within the four walls. These landscape creations bring together the imaginative of a child, the whimsicalness of a Salvador Dali painting, and the talent of an amazing artist. You would not believe how realistic JeeYoung Lee’s are to the eye.

All I can say is that next time I want to try and decorate my room, I’m going to check up on JeeYoung Lee’s newest works. This artist’s ability to create inspiration is anything but in short supply.
