Now who ever said that plus sized women should stick to only wearing black?
For this upcoming holiday season of mistletoed parties and eggnog cocktails, this inspiring woman is bringing the seasonal colors and iconic winter dazzle to the closets of plus sized women.
Gemma Collins, Towie star turned self made fashion designer, will be launching her newest fashion line for women with curves. Being a strong advocate and voice for women of curves, Collins has created her newest line to embrace the holiday season. With her newest line, women who are of a bigger size will, hopefully, no longer feel down about themselves during that Christmas or seasonal party. But instead, they will feel beautiful and part of the season within themselves through their growing confidence.
Collin’s festive line will stick to the colors of the traditional winter season, such as, emerald green, mulled red, shadowed black, and gold. Most of the designs will feature a glamorized twist with the addition of gemstones, sequins and painted gold designs. Unlike many plus sized designers, Collin’s not just making clothes that would fit a runway model into a bigger size, instead she has created designs that match perfectly with a curvier body by using techniques of waist cinching and shifts.
Gemma Collins hopes that her newest line will have every girl getting a kiss under the mistletoe.
“Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate our curves and show off the gorgeous body we have been given. I hope my Christmas Capsule Collection will allow the inner confidence of every one of us larger girls to shine through.”
