A few years ago I took a tour all around Spain and it was without a doubt one of the best experiences that I have had so far. It was the first time that I ever went to Europe, and on top of that, it was the first time that I ever went on vacation without my family. I was young, ready to explore, and so excited that I couldn’t sleep for the entire week before my plane touched off.
Spain wasn’t one of those countries that I just “had” to visit in my lifetime, no, those slots on my bucket list were reserved for countries like Italy, France, Prague, England, and Australia. It wasn’t that I didn’t think Spain was worthy of a place on my bucket list, it was just that I never gave much thought to it. But after finding a tour, purely by random luck, that was based in Spain, I just couldn’t resist that chance to explore a country that I knew so little about.
I traveled all around Spain, focusing mostly on the major cities, but I would have to say without a doubt that Barcelona was my absolutely favorite. The seafood is fresh, the women are beautiful, and the clothes are as colorful as they come.
