How To Make A Cannoli

In this video, Mario Batali, the host of Malto Mario, shows us step-by-step of how to make the perfect cannoli.
A cannoli is an italian dessert, where a cookie like tube is filled with a thick cream filling. From my experience, everyone makes the filling different.
When I make cannolis, I always use mascarpone cheese; my aunt, on the other hand, uses a combination of cream cheese and ricotta. In this video, Mario used ricotta as the base for his fillings. So if you don’t like ricotta, or it’s not on sale at your market, then you can swap it out with mascarpone or cream cheese. My only tip when swapping out is to add one or two tablespoons of milk to looses it up.
This video is easy to follow, gives great tips, and mixes in chocolate chips to the filling. Now hat could be better then chocolate chips in cream in a cookie?
