Cheese Fondue

About a month ago I made the attempt to become a vegan, with ATTEMPT to be the keyword. For those of you who are not aware of what a vegan is, a began is someone who does not eat any animal products. This means that you are not allowed to eat any meat(beef, poultry, pork, fish) eggs, or dairy; you’re are actually not supposed to eat honey either, but most vegans I know don’t follow that rule.

So last month, after hearing that becoming a vegan can solve many of my health problems, I decided to give the “lifestyle” a go around the block. Stocked up with tofu, lentils, and kale chips, which shouldn’t even be called food, I was pumped up and ready.

I don’t know how I even made it two weeks! Okay, being as that I was a vegetarian when I was younger the cutting out meat part was not a problem, nor was the cutting out eggs.

But the dairy! My cheese and my butter, I missed them so much!

And so, the vegan diet was out the window and I promise never to abandon my cheese friends again. By the way, to all of those who tell their vegan friends to “just take off” the cheese of the pizza, let me tell you what we are all thinking when you say that; it is not pizza then, now it is just bread with sauce, oh gee, delicious.
