In light of the #nomakeup selfies that have been piling up on social media, in the hope to raise awareness and money for cancer victims, I have come to a certain conclusion.
Woman without makeup are stunning!………but I must say that I have spotted some filtering and foundation scheming taking place.
There’s no shame in a woman needing a little bit of a nip, squeeze, buff, and tuck before going out into the world. We all walk around like we never touched a waxing strip and never even heard of a pushup bra. This needs to end because, lets face it, sometimes a gal just needs those pair of spanks to make her feel just a little “brighter”.
Here are some of the newest “helpers” that should find their place in your closest.
- BaByLizz (Brilliant Shine Ionic Brush)
This $30 hairbrush is designed to help tame the worst of your hair days. The bristles send out microscopic particles with the claims that it helps to fight frizz and leave your hair silky smooth. The battery-powered brush helps to rid you hair of damages created by air condition, pollution and man-made fibers.
- Neutrogena Deep Moisture Night Cream
This night cream will help you to get noticeably softer skin without bringing out you little “buyer’s regret” monster at an affordable $13. The cream can be found in the majority of your local drug stores, such as, Walgreens, Cvs, and Rite Aid. Not only is it affordable, but the cream has been proven by dermatologist to give you a softer, brighter, and all around healthier looking skin after just one night.
This little gadget is a watch, which comes in silver, gold, and gunmetal, that reminds you to apply your sunscreen. It’s attached to your iPhone, which receives notifications alerting you to when your body may need more sun screen or to search for a shaded area. This gadget is perfect for people who are on the go a lot, or just forgetful, and need to be reminded to apply their daily dose of sunscreen, aka, the wrinkle preventer.
- Nailsnap App
Okay, this tool is still in the process of being created, but I just had to put it on the list based on the sole fact that it has an incredibly high rank on my “This is gonna be awesome. I want. I want” meter. Nailsnap is a state of the art app that pulls images from your own instagram pictures and recreates them into nail stickers. It’s simple, just pick your image, adjust to fit your nails and upload, Nailsnaps sends you printed polish stickers. Raise of hands, you is taking a picture of their pet, anybody?
