Period Aiding Smoothies

With all the talk going around about periods, ‘How to Make Sex on your Period Better’, ‘I Tried Period Proof Underwear’, and ‘My Menstrual Cycle Survival Guide’, it seems that talking about periods are down right vogue at this point.

And why shouldn’t it be? Menstrual Cycles, aka Aunt Flow, is a natural part of a woman’s life. But, while it’s as natural as giving birth (the two kind of go hand in hand) that doesn’t mean it’s easy (another thing that menstrual cycles and giving birth have in common). And no, despite what boys may think, having your period isn’t a generic tampon commercial filled with young women doing yoga in their underwear or pretty girls frolicking in a meadow. That’s right, I said frolicking.

Periods are down right battlefields, filled with blood, pain, and more energy lost than an energizer bunny on Xanax.

But with the use of certain smoothies, you can help ease the discomfort and gore that comes with mother nature’s reminder.
