Charcoal Jelly Ball Cleanser

Here’s a little riddle for you…

What’s black, circular, and something that you want close to your mouth?

No….it’s not a giant oreo.

I’m talking about the Charcoal Jelly Ball Cleanser.

This newest beauty tool has been circulating around the internet – aka, the black hole that is known as a beauty guru’s paradise – and has been making quite the impact on people.

It has, dare I say it, become the belle of the ball during these past few weeks.

*Ha, ha. Get it? Ball. No….? Tough crowd.*

For those of you who don’t know or haven’t heard about the Charcoal Jelly Ball Cleanser, the newest beauty tool was released by Boscia – a skincare company that prides itself on being preservative free. The trending beauty tool looks like a black ball and contains a facial cleanser made from activated charcoal, along with tamarindus indica seed gum and hinoki oil on the top outer layer.

To use the Charcoal Jelly Ball Cleanser, simply wet the ball and rub it around your face, moving it in circular motions as you would usually wash your face. The water and movement will cause the ball to release the layer of facial cleanser and you will have a very light layer suds. When finished and your face is clean, give the ball a quick rinse to remove any excess subs and place it in a clean spot.

Now let’s look at some reviews for this little ball of supposid magic…

“When compared to a traditional charcoal-based cleanser, I’d say the results weren’t too far off from other formulas I’ve tried, but I will say the whole experience was enjoyable. Would I do it again? Totally.” – Allure.

“Either way, the product is fun to use and gives that deep-down “detoxifying” clean that doesn’t make even super sensitive skin types red or irritated.”NewBeauty.

“The delivery mechanism turns the chore of washing your face into something you’ll actually look forward to — solving the age-old problem of what to do when you just want to go to sleep without removing your makeup.”Teen Vogue

With glowing reviews like this, I think this cleansing ball is at least worth giving a try and, if it doesn’t work for your skin, at least you had fun using it!

The Charcoal Jelly Cleanser Ball will be available at Sephora for $20 in July.
